Am I Going to Heaven?
Take the Heaven Test
Instructions - Check which item(s) below that you think are necessary to get you to Heaven.
-
NO. It is impossible to get to Heaven this way. The Bible says:
"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law."
-
NO. These things are good, but could never make it possible for you to go to Heaven. The Bible says:
"he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy."
-
NO. There is nothing wrong with going to church but going to church can also give us a false sense of security. Not everyone who is going to church is going to Heaven. Jesus said:
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
And Jesus told us what the will of God is:
"For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life,"
-
NO. Reading the Bible, praying and fasting are important parts of our relationship with God, but it is not by doing them that we are able to go to Heaven.
Again, the Bible says:
"All of us have become like one who is unclean,
and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags"
-
NO. These things do not make it possible to get to Heaven either. The Bible Says:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
-
NO. Sorrow for sin or attempts to prove our sincerity to God do not deal with the issue of Sin. It is our sin that has separated us from God and made it impossible to get to Heaven.
As the Bible says:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
