Sunday Services

HIS Players is the Drama Ministry of Salem Bible Church,  Our purpose is to present well-written, well-rehearsed drama to illustrate truth and to prepare hearts.  It is our passion to see hearts softened and prepared to receive God's Word and to present a mirror in which we can see the truth about ourselves.  Our Sunday morning  presentations are 5-8 minute sketches as requested  from time to time by the pastors to illustrate a particular message..

Qualifications

Participants are needed not only for Acting, and Directing but also for Script-writing,  Stage Crew, Props and Costumes, Lighting, Sound and Video.    In most cases previous experience is  not  required.  What's needed is a willingness to take diection, ability to faithfully attend reheearsals   and a commitment to doing the best job possible.

Longer Programs

HIS Players is also available to present  meaningful (and often humorous)  short entertainments for holidays, special occasions and smaller events, such as  Ladies' Ministry programs.  Longer programs, such as for outreach events, are also within our scope.  It is our hope to present an outreach Dinner Theater in the near future and to eventually form a Traveling Troupe.
