Our Vision

Our vision is to reach our community and make a difference in the lives they live through the good news of Jesus Christ.
We believe we can accomplish this through helping people discover God's purpose for their life through teamwork, creativity and excellence.

Mission Statement

Salem Bible Church is a Biblically-based congregation committed to worshipping God and seeking His power to be evidenced among us through:

(1) Salvation of the lost both locally and around the world
(2) Growth of individual Christians toward Christ like maturity
(3) A community where believers minister to one another in Christian love.

Statement Of Faith

We Believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe in the total depravity and lost condition of all men by nature (Romans 3:11-18, 5:12).

We believe in the triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe in the personality of God's holy angels and of Satan and his fallen angels (Hebrews 1:14; 1 Peter 5:8; Matthew 25:41).

We believe in the virgin birth, deity and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:18-23; John 1:1; Luke 24:36-39).

We believe in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the only atonement for sin (Ephesians 1:7; Matthew 20:28).

We believe in justification by faith in Christ and the eternal security of the believer (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:28; John 10:28-29).

We believe God the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin and regenerates, indwells, enlightens and empowers the saved (Acts 5:3-4; John 16:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 2:12-13; Galatians 5:16).

We believe the saved in this dispensation are members of the body of Christ, the Church and are to be obedient to Him in all things (Ephesians 1:22-23; John 14:15).

We believe that Christ instituted the ordinances of baptism (by immersion) and the Lord 's Supper to be observed by the Church (Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-39; Luke 22:19-20).

We believe that the saved are called to a life of godliness and holiness (1 John 2:15-17; 1 Peter 1:14-16; Titus 2:11-12).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead-of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment (1 Peter 1:4-5; Revelation 20:11-15).
